Bring the one you love most to Verona. A great, incredible Valentine day in the town of Romeo and Juliet, the most romantic town in the world!
In the whole week before 14th February, the streets in city centre are decorated with red hearts: Via Mazzini in particular and all the nearby alleys and lanes are full of love! Red heart shaped balloons for the visitors as well as red heart lanterns burning of love and light.
Streets, city squares and of course all the Shakespearean places of Verona are full of performances, concerts, events. In piazza dei Signori a huge red heart is designed with a red carpet, surrounded by stalls offering
the highlights of the event ‘Verona in Love’ (‘Un Cuore da Scoprire’), which takes place on 13th and 14th February in Veneto every year.   A wonderful Valentine’s market full of locally produced food and drink, cheeses, heart-shaped decorations, cushions, paintings, ceramics.

A free chocolate tasting  around and then just climb Torre dei Lamberti for an impressive view of the heart-shaped market, using  a “two for the price of one” offer.

Don’t  miss a visit to Giulietta’s (Juliet’s) house, free to visit on the two days of the Valentine’s party, which  front door is completely covered in love letters! that on 14th morning will be taken down and judged for the massive love letter competition  at the ‘Casa Giulietta’ by the Juliet’s Club. An archive of the best love letters from decades of celebrations are there to be read from all romantic souls!
