Montisola is the pearl of Lake Iseo. It is one of the most frequented areas of the lake during the summer months and it also is the largest lake island in Europe.
The Archipelago of the Aeolian Islands take its name from the God Aeolus, god of winds, and is made up of seven islands scattered along the north eastern coast of Sicily.
