Impossible to mistake: when you are in the South of Italy the taste is fantastic. From the tomatoes to the grapes, from the olives to the figs, the great Italian products are also here, fresh and ready to be eaten. 
Unlike the more traveled regions of Italy, Basilicata is best reserved for seasoned travelers. This is a region found in the “calve” of Italy, and the locals here are not especially accustomed to tourists, so you won’t find any tour buses here.
