after the republic, the emperors there added new buildings.

Used originally as a cemetery because of its marshy nature, the valley of the Forum was reclaimed thanks to the implementation of Cloaca Summary by Tarquinio Prisco at the end of the seventh century BC.

The access to Forum is by Largo Romulus e Remus.Among the things to see there are Arch of Septimius Severus,
Temple of Saturn, House of the Vestal Virgins, Temple of Antoninus and Faustina and Arch of Titus.
