\"\"<\/a>Both men and women often dream of making it to Italy to see the sights and experience the huge amounts of culture and art available throughout the nation, but even the most culturally sensitive man needs to take a break every now and again to see something a bit more exciting than yet another religious painting. Fortunately, Italy knows how to deliver and you can find plenty of exciting things to do that appeal to men.<\/p>\n

Siena<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dark middle age d\u00e9cor aside, Siena is the home to one of the most popular horse races in the world, and not only is it a horse race, it\u2019s actually a bareback horse race for that extra bit of danger and fun. Before or after the race, you can take a tour of the city or dedicate up to a week on a single pass checking out the buildings and relics left over from the middle ages or earlier. Siena is a darker, making it more exciting place to visit than many other more cheerful cities.<\/p>\n

Naples<\/strong><\/p>\n

A young (by Italian standards) city, Naples has undergone something of a makeover in recent years. The tone of the city is much more youthful and brash than the larger cities in the country, and there\u2019s no shortage of things to do. Explore Naples by day to find the Duomo and the gothic church, Chiesa di San Domenico Maggiore. Once the sun goes down, however, you\u2019re really ready to explore Naples thanks to its young and energetic night life \u2013 join the club scene for an entirely new way to see the country and her people.<\/p>\n

Parma<\/strong><\/p>\n

A city famous for cheese and sausage, Parma is home to prosciutto and parmigiano cheese as well as a funky collection of restaurants and bars that seem to appear just as the sun is going down. Spend some time in the town by day and then, as the darkness settles in, pop into one of the funkier establishments you\u2019ll find in the city for delicious food, great service and a nice aura of music and fun as well.<\/p>\n

Palermo<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the capital city of Sicily, you can expect to find more than just a great plate of pasta. If you\u2019re ready to take a break from the busy life in the bigger cities, visit Palermo to get a feel for the lifestyle that inspired the Godfather and then take yourself down to Mondello beach where you can relax with the locals in the warm sand and sun, Italian style.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
