Just think of Ancona, a large seaside town squeezed between the sea and Mount Conero.
The hinterland is also full of lively tourist traffic, thanks to its beauty. Among the favourite destinations for Italians and foreigners, there is the famous shrine of Loreto, one of the most visited sites in Italy and Europe.
The geographical area that attracts most tourists, besides the Ancona and its municipal area (where is located the charming Portonovo) are those of Senigallia, Sirolo and Numana.
