Cesenatico is situated on the Adriatic coast and is a popular seaside resort, with more than 100 hotels and many marine colonies.
It was born in 1302 as the port of Cesena and the port-channel was opened in the XVI century according to the designs of Leonardo da Vinci.
Strolling in the narrow streets of the historic center of Cesenatico visitor can see:
Piazza delle Conserve, where there are remains of ancient ice makers;
The Port-channel of Leonardo da Vinci, which is the center of the social life. Enclosed by the two bridges, there is the floating Museum of the Marineria;
