Situated along the coast overlooking the Gulf of Naples, the Parthenopean city develops from the slopes of Vesuvius to the Campi Flegrei.

Its origins are very ancient, it is thought Naples was founded by some Greek colonists in VIII century BC.
After the conquest by the Romans in the IV century BC, Naples started growing.

Today Naples is a multicultural city, rich in monuments and history.
San Gennaro, celebrated September 19, is the patron saint of the city.
