Maratea is located on the Tyrrhenian Coast and it is appreciated seaside resort town rich in history. Its about 30km of coastline, bathed by a crystalline sea.
The Port also is a small gem.

Maratea attractions are the Island of Santo Janni and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer high about 22 meters, (second only to the statue that overlooks Rio de Janeiro), which from the top of Mount San Biagio dominates the surrounding stretch of coast.

The town of Maratea is also known as the city of churches. Behind Maratea lies the rocky massif of Pollino, fully inserted Pollino National Park.
