The Gargano or Monte Gargano is a promontory in northern of Apulia belonging to the province of Foggia and it is the spur on the heel of Italy which juts into the Adriatic Sea in a nest-east direction.
It consits of little town well renown for their peculiarity: Mattinata ,Vieste Monte Sant'Angelo, San Giovanni Rotondo and Rodi Garganico.
It offers many sea grottos and rock arches dotted along most of the splendid coastline.
