Palazzo Olivia is a recently renovated seventeenth century building with 8 one or two-bed apartments. Each apartment can sleep up to a maximum of 6 people.
Palazzo Olivia, besides a fantastic location and comfortable apartments, has the extra help of an on site office.
Something rare for rented holiday apartments. The office is open to guests in the morning for directions, support, suggestions, ideas and tours booking.
Palazzo Olivia is situated in Via dei Leutari, in Romes historic centre, just a short walk from Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. Via dei Leutari is a quiet pedestrian street that links Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Piazza Pasquino and to Via del Governo Vecchio, the ancient Via Papalis. All around is the Rome you have always dreamed of visiting and this can easily be done on foot, to enjoy its atmosphere and special fascination.
The careful renovation has preserved some details typical of buildings of the period, like the beautiful stone spiral staircase, the high wooden ceilings and the large windows, that have been maintained and renovated, making them sound and temperature-proof. The building has carefully preserved interiors with all comforts and a lift gives access to the 8 apartments on 4 floors.
On the third floor of the building opposite, as a marble plaque recalls, Gioachino Rossini composed The Barber of Seville during his stay in Rome in 1816. In order to pay tribute to this great composer, we have given our apartments the names of characters in his opera: Figaro, Rosina, Bartolo, Basilio, Il Conte d'Almaviva, Fiorello, Berta and Il Barbiere.
All the accommodation is comfortable and suitable for long stays and has 1 or 2 bedrooms. Two people can also sleep in the living room on a double sofa bed.
