The Villa is built upon 2000-year old foundations and set amidst thirty acres of working vineyards and olive groves, 40 minutes from the heart of Rome.
On arrival at the Casale guests are welcomed by one of the owners speaking fluent English as well as French and of course Italian.

They will show guests how to get to Monte Porzio and Frascati where it is possible to find a variety of stores and restaurants and how to get into Rome via the train or the metro. Many guests take advantage of planning their trip with Claire before they leave, looking over the extensive collection of maps and guidebooks at the Casale and following the advice of George or Clo who are more than happy to help gusts take the greatest advantage of theirr time. The country kitchen has a gas stove, microwave and coffeemaker and is fully stocked with spices and pots and pans for cooking. However, many guests would rather eat while on the road touring or at the many excellent restaurants nearby. If guests are interested, the owners are ready to organize delicious dinners at the Casale with a two days notice and provide a tour guide for day trips or tours around Rome. The Casale Sonnino has 5 Bedrooms and 3 Full Baths. It is most comfortable for 6-8 people, yet as many as 12 people have shared the Villa at one time. Floor plans are available upon request.
