Ferdy's Farmhouse is situated in a green oasis on the banks of the river Brembo, at the foot of Mount Ortighera and at an altitude of around 500 metres.
The agriturismo is built around an old 800's farmstead adapted to suit its owners� (Cinzia e Ferdy) taste.
Every room has a bathroom with shower, TV and telephone. The welcoming dining room with its characteristic stone archway was originally an old stable. The large fireplace, where guests can warm themselves, is used for roasting chestnuts in Autumn, bringing to mind the traditional Bergamese customs. In the summer-time, lunch is served out in the open.
Guests can taste home-produced local specialities such as cheeses and goats� cold cut meats. Particular care is taken in the selection and use of wild herbs for the preparation of tasty recipes.
They organize walks, one or more hours long in the surrounding woods, lessons for all levels, trekking at high altitudes. Following the footpaths it is possible to reach mountain huts which offer spectacular views of the valley.
