Pitigliano is a typical Maremma hinterland town, and it has a striking view with houses built vertically on the edge of a tufa gorge in which they seem like a natural continuation. The town is sited in the shadow of the magnificent Orsini Castle , flanked with the imposing Medicean Aqueduct, characterised by the Jewish ghetto and encircled by old paths carved in the tufa ( Vie Cave ).
The Guastini Hotel is the only hotel in the old town centre. It can receive about 60 guests in rooms with recently renovated services and furniture.
Each room has bathroom, telephone, hairdryer and television with English, French, German and Italian channels and a special channel for information about the area and the hotel.

They have two different kind of rooms: standard and upper rooms. Upper rooms � intended for a more demanding clientele � offer standard services plus air conditioning, fridge-bar, hydromassage and sauna.
