The "Masseria" (a word that defines an ancient self-sufficient rural structure held by Landlords in southern Italy in the last centuries where grains, olives and grapes where transformed) "Rossella" was edified on the late '700s on the ruins of an ancient Saracen installation. The "Masseria Rossella" was actually built in order to compete with H.M. Ferdinand III de Borbon that in the "Ficuzza" Wood built his Regal Hunting Mansion, the "Regio Casino".
Rossella is set on the Mount Rossella facing the stunning "Scanzano" Valley, in front of the "Ficuzza" Wood and the breathtaking "Rocca Busambra", one of the highest peaks in Sicily, where is still possible to watch raptors as eagles and hawks. "Rossella" owns its name to the quality of roses that the over here the land allow to grow.
Situated 700 meters over the see level, Rossella will grant really pleasant and fresh stays also during the warmest part of the summer. Rossella is ideal for the organization of events as Meetings, Shows, Banquets, Parties, Concerts, Weddings, weeks of cooking lessons, or photography, or painting to be held in the new structure created from the old stables and warehouses.
