Portoscuso is a pleasant small town located by the sea on the south-west of the Sardinian coast.
Founded in 1554, its economy is famed for tuna fishing and coral harvesting;in fact, the surrounding waters are particularly rich in tuna shoals during the spring time, the coast, which extends for about 8Km, is rich with inlets and delightful beaches, which the nearest is Sa Cruscitta.
