St. Placido inn is a prestigious attic, at the fourth floor of an eighteenth-century building in the heart of the historical centre, at the back of the Cathedral Square. It is at 5 km from the airport, at 1 km from the railway-station and at 100 metres from the sea, right in the heart of the commercial, cultural, historical centre of the city. The strategic position of our home allows to have at hand both the most interesting architectural monuments (the Cathedral, Biscari's Palace, St. Placido's Church, the Greek Theatre, and so on) and the widest range of offers for the spare time, shopping and entertainments.

The B&B recalls the atmosphere of "grandmother's house". The woody furniture, the handcraft ceramics, the typical Sicilian objects, all speaks about tradition, history, love for simple life of old times. The attic is provided with a modern lift and two wide terraces of about 100mq, where guests can bask in the sun, have meals open doors and above all enjoy a wonderful landscape with view on the sea, overlooking Etna and the historical centre. Roms are wide, bright, quiet, with a marvellous view. Some of them look directly over the sea and all of them have a bathroom in the room. The rooms are endowed with TV, fridge and air conditioned. The comfortable kitchen in brickwork with two cooking planes allows to prepare the meals in perfect autonomy
