The Hotel Villa al Mare is located on the south side of the Ischia island. It lies on the terraced hillside where once were the vine and olive growing. Both, beach and centre, can be reached by bus. There is a bus stop very close to the Hotel. The structure was built and opened in 1964 and it has 29 rooms, of witch 24 with sea view, restaurant, bar with sheltered terrace, heating, swimming-pool with hot thermal water, solarium and parking.

All around the garden is plenty of luxuriant, blooming plants and flowers. The food is tasteful and typical, dainty dishes of Ischia are carefully prepared. The rooms are placed to enjoy the wonderful view of Maronti Bay and the breathtaking sundown. All the rooms have furnishings made of wood or wicker and wrought iron decors, private bath, telephone and balcony or terrace. The Beach of the Marontis is considered among the most beautiful of the island, along its shore there are many restaurants and bars.
