The Lupa" is located in Piumazzo, on the border between the provinces of Modena and Bologna in the vicinity of the remains of Canetolo Castle in a not-urbanized geographical area, entirely immersed in the farmland countryside that when Spring begins one can find a rare spectacular of beauty owing to the charming stretch of blossoming fruit trees. Thanks to its strategic position "The Lupa" is still very close to a number of extremely interesting tourist routes.
It's a real oasis of peace and tranquility in which to relax with the added advantage of the excellent Emilian cuisine. The structure is subdivided into different buildings: the farmhouse and the adjacent silo (N.d.T. A tall tower or pit on a farm used to store grain) where the guest rooms are, the structure where the dining rooms are, on two separate floors, the "Barchessa" a separate building next to the swimming pool and some farming equipment. The whole structure evokes a real farm atmosphere, in fact the area surrounding the rural buildings is used entirely for the orchard (peaches, pears, cherries and plums) and covers an area of almost 20 acres. The spectacle of the blossoming orchard wherein nature plunges every Spring is without a doubt one of the most fascinating things that can be seen.
The open air swimming pool is available for guests staying at the farmhouse. A large parking area, wisely blending into the surrounding environment, along with a small lake and a pedestrian area are available to all guests.
"The Lupa" has one-roomed flats with a cooking area, single and double rooms with the option of adding a third bed or, on request, a cot for babies.
All rooms have private entrances as well as bathrooms with a shower, television, telephone and mini-bar. The bed and breakfast option is available for stays at "The Lupa.
